Fingringhoe is a national gem about five miles for Colchester. The little villiage is a conservation area with its traditional pond and red telephone box, it also has a beautiful old church, St Andrew's that dates back to the 12th century. It's also known for its salt marshes and forms a nature reserve managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust.
